Carbon Capture Is a Good Thing for Oil and Gas Production

Environmentalists worry that allowing carbon capture to be used for enhanced oil recovery would subsidize production. Most captured c o two does not come from point sources; it's taken out of geologicl storage in colorado and utah. If we are going to be doing any oil and gas production in the us, it is better off to do that in depleted, existing basins than to do greenfield development in new areas have not been impacted.
