Are We Making Some Good Headway in Recovering Global History?

Global histories are becoming more well known in the anglophone world. This work has been going on in other parts of the world and by other people for quite a long time. People like the subaltern school who began to recover Indian perspectives after independence in India began to transform the way that we were doing histories. So it's really a big global transformation that I am failing to encapsulate very effectively, but comes after actual independence for many colonies.
