The world's first islamic republic was pacisam. I don't see this as an issue of the west. The first word in the koran is icra to read. It doesn't say only men read. We are all meant to pursue our path to education. And indeed, through ino private ntractions and on on a public level, we will be emphasizing the importance to sho a right to access to education.
