The Importance of Courage in Tech and Design
I feel like a lot of people myself included who have been working in this intersection of tech and design and ethics we have spent so much time trying to figure out how to reconcile business with ethics or idealism with pragmatism right. I think it's not necessarily possible but there are things you can just do that are better maybe they don't change the whole paradigm but move something forward as a team. It doesn't make individual actions I take meaningless either right like composting stuff or doing other things still good things to do. The European Union parliament is actually trying to draft law where you'll start punishing companies that have this deceptive manipulative designs, he says.
