Scientists do know that it is not spread through casual contact, sexual transmission or from mother to fetus. The prevailing theory is that high levels of the bacteria developed in a person's nose and are spread to others not immune through prolonged contact. Like prolonged nasal licking. That sounds kind of hard to believe though. How could you say that it can't... It's not really transmitted through sex, but like, you know... Sex prolonged is non-sex. And that is why I've never left harder out of the scene in my whole life.
