In the US this year, brands are putting retail media into their media mix model. Unlike regular media, there are all these additional costs that you have to pay in order to do business with retailers. So yeah, it can be daunting and expensive, especially when you bake in those costs afterwards. But I think MMM needs a bit of a rethink for the 21st century.
