What Are Femoral Head Fractures?
The medial femoral circumflex artery originates from the profound ephemeris. The other portion of the blood supply is the artery to the ligamentum terries. These patients would typically have a history of a frontal impact motor vehicle accident with the knee striking a dashboard or a fall from a height. Symptoms typically include localized hip pain, unable to bear weight and other symptoms that are associated with the impact.
