The Queen's Story and the Anecdote

I was speaking at the point at which they were leaving the chamber. One of my colleagues said, I think this is something to do with the Queen. The family had been asked to go up to Balmoral. At that point, most of us thought, maybe this is it. This is the moment. And you actually did something quite extraordinary because you took in the gravity, the solemnity, the sadness of the day. But you actually also delivered a pretty funny anecdote that had Parliament laughing.
