Francis fuki ama: Identity politics in the united states has really interfered with freedom of speech so on. He says it's important to defend liberal ideals and say social justice claims are correct up to a certain point, but they can't interfere with these other ideals. Do you want the rest of the world, the west, to get tougher on china? Francis Fuki Ama: I think that since two thousand 13, when shijin ping took over, China has been shifting from an ordinary authoritarian state to essentially totalitarian one.
