Is It Time for Us to Secularize and Tame the Mountains?
More than 300 years ago, mountains would have been kind of menacing. But certainly there was this change wer they became something that has really captured our imagination. So it's taken us a long time to kind of secularize and tame the mountains. And largely, you know, we've done that. Though, of course, mountains can still remind us of theira blazing indifference to our schemes.
