I view this as a positive, not a predatory, sub-imperialist move on behalf of Brazil. Trade relations between the two countries are pretty equal. I think in 2021, Brazil exported around $15 billion worth of goods to Argentina and imported around $13 billion from Argentina. There would be no conversion fee between the Argentinian peso and the real.
