The international law commission is now an official body passd under article 13 of the charter by the general assembly. States were quite aware that this was something pergolating and essentially voted with their feet, right? Because he was elected to the commission, he proposed the pic. The commission accepted the topic. Thay worked over a series of years, drafting a few articles a year,. accompanied by very, very comprehensive orts produced by professor murphy. So it's been a long anditerative process.
