Freud's Paranoia Process
Frida Ghitis: There's no primary neurosis here, there's no dosting or there's no hysteria in the sense that you're talking about. The body without organs enables a paranoia process and just like it enables a schizophrenic process. And these two co-exist, very comingo play upon each other, all part of these functionalities and disjunction.Ghitis: We cannot say that psychoanalysis is very innovative in this respect. It continues to ask its questions and develop its interpretations from the depths of the edible triangle as its basic perspective. But we are acutely aware that this frame of reference is not at all adequate to explain so-called psychotic phenomena.
