What Is Post Vietnam Syndrome?

Post Vietnam syndrome emerges in the late 60s through the mid 1970s, and it emerges out of the work of a combination of veterans, Vietnam veterans against the war. So anti war veteran activists and radical psychiatrists who come to work with that. And so really, the notion of post Vietnam syndrome was to describe this phenomenon of basically what it means to suffer from having been a perpetrator - not just a perpetrator but a perpetrator of mass atrocities on the killing fields of Vietnam.
