The Importance of the Elevated Loop

The elevated lop a was a a transportation hub that had not been there before. The land within the tracks, or t the area that would be covered by the tracks, was worth significantly more than the land outside the tracks. Everything outside the elevated loop was worth a lot less money than the land inside. For about ten or 20 years, real estate guys were for jockeying to get the elevated loop structure extended further south.
