Do You Think the Pentagon Papers Had an Impact on the Vietnam War?
I'm just interested to know why you sat on the Pentagon Papers. For quite a while before ultimately leaking them to the newspapers in 1971, some people would say if you'd acted sooner, they might have had more impact on the war. When you read the Pentagon Papers, did you feel a real sense of anger that successive administrations hadn't really told the truth about what was happening in Vietnam?
