Are You a Democrat or a Liberal?

I was very surprised, pleasantly, by the protests on the streets. It's nice to hear somebody really speak out about it. These truckers are working class people. They may be independent owner operators, ut, but still, it feels like a joe byden democrat party base. Is there any one who would typically be called liberal or leftist who met with them even just to give them the courtesy of a hearing?
