The Importance of Communication in the Giro
I really think the riders know the most about what is safe and unsafe there is a database of crashes things like this. There are a lot of near misses that's not documented and right to see that firsthand. Just by having a police stand 40 meters in front is the next two seconds reaction time is huge for a rider. If you're going to put a policeman there it's going to cost nothing extra so this communication is very important. I'm trying to just get a bunch of information possible from the riders and then riders script of the regulations. No one's been done no one's done this before, he says.
