The FAI have had a government bailout relatively recently. Are they not already getting what they need from the government? I don't think it's fair, really. They obviously got a government bailout for having been running to the ground during the Jan Delaney tenure. But just in a climate when sports bodies around the world are being asked or should be being asked to examine their relationship with gambling, the FAI... There's not something jarring about the FAI's best idea to raise funds, being to try to get a bigger slice of the gambling pie. That is a fair argument.
