"I was hired by John Goodfriend. It was John's boss and the guy became the assistant chairman for the chairman in charge of a,. a, a, Solomon Brothers," he says. "Even though I wasn't quite like this, it was pretty much expected when John called, he dropped everything and his did what he wanted." He adds: "You really could, in true with anybody who was good on the floor, was systematic in that they followed the same rules pretty consistently" In those days, there were very little written about any of this stuff; you didn't have to sell things at the track record. All you had to do was have a good story in those days
