Are There Standards for Telematics in All Modern Cars?

All cars are computers on wheels and the data streams connected to them are collectively referred to as telematics. Data can be everything from temperature sensors, the ability to lock and unlock your car or it's that battery state of charge. All cars have had these computers embedded in them for the last decade or two. The subset of the telematics data is what is most relevant for electric vehicle charging.
