The Sixth Committee of the International Law Commission
The sixth committee of the general assembly deals with legal matters. Why is it that it has to go through the sixth committee in order to establish, for example, a tiating convention posted by austria? It's tradition the international law commission. Part of our job this summer is to think a little bit outside the box and say, well, maybe they should have gone the third committee,. or maybe it shou'd just go to the plettery in the general assembly and just get voted up or down.
