The Name Oranistan Road

The road was originally called overlake terrace, and it didn't change to a ranistan road until around the 19 forties. Back then, the whole area was part of an estate owned by colonel legrand bchanan. There's also a second theory uncovered by seven days writer, ken piccard. Ken looked into the name oranistan road about a decade ago for the column whisky tango, fox trot.
