Howard Marks, Founder and CEO of Oaktree Capital

Howard Marks graduated from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania, cum laude in 1967. He worked as an equity research analyst at City Corp for the next decade before he became Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Convertible and High-Yield Securities. In 1995, he left Trust Company of the West to set up Oaktree Capital which runs a high-yield bond fund,.
