The Golden Fleece and Ares' Dragon
Medea led Jason to the Grove where Ares' dragon guarded the Golden Fleece. She knew the paths that no one else took, and she could help him get back to the Argo before anyone noticed. After they got the fleece, they rushed back to the city behind them. The Greeks rode the Argo as quickly as they could down the river; soon they came to the Black Sea. Kiaetis must have known another way to the sea, because when they crossed into the ocean, many ships were on the right.
