Job's Situation
Job says, I've sewed sackcloth over my skin and buried my brow in the dust. His face is red with weeping dark shadows ring his eyes. People open their mouths to jeer at me. They strike my cheek in scorn and unite together against me. Here is a guy covered in his own blood and other people's spit. That's what we would see, says Job. Remind you of anyone? Let's turn to Matthew 27. We'll see the similarities between Job's description of his situation and what you would have seen if you were with Jesus.
