What Happened to the B B C Staff?

B b c did more than many government ministries to give credit throughout the war to the efforts of ordinary working people. So it was quite a big change for the corporation itself. Plans were made for dispersal of the bb c staff. Staff were organized into three categories, a, b and c. C would be those who were immediately able to leave and join the armed services. And b were in a sort of inbetween category. B b c had been preparing since the middle of the 19 thirties.
