My intent, had I wanted to steal money, I could have stolen any amount of money I wanted. And what potential profit there was would probably extinguish fairly quickly. But your question was about intent. So you can argue intent many different ways and I certainly would be able to argue intent from my own perspective. In Bankman Freed's case he's completely deluded in that regard. Why did he pay O'Leary $15 million to promote this business? Why did he make political donations in the magnitude that he did if he wasn't deceiving people? You know it's a tissue of lies, but which is the bigger evil? It becomes the thing that you can't do.
