Lactated Ringers or Plasmolite?
Lactated ringers showed better mortality, was better for the kidneys. Another randomized clinical trial from brazil found no difference in mortality or kidney outcome. But what do we make of all that conflicting data? Clinically, i've no idea. Iyo, people are blaming plasmolite. It's hard to go back right after there's some signal in some trial saying normal sailing might have more aci.
