Hitler was an anti modernist in artistic terms, of the most extreme kind a when we talk about the conservative right rejecting prince horn's ideas. He detested er the idea that artist should be exploring anin an inner world, or that dardar should exist at all. And so by attacking modernism, by attacking the avongard, hitler was finding common cause with some of the german electorate. The ar degenerate art shows, which is what the nares ended up staging to shame. Modern art were extremely popular. I mean, millions of people went to see these events and they bussed and laid on trains too to get people to them.
