The Great Awakening
In 1740, Whitfield was invited to come out to America to help preach there. He does advocate for making Georgia a slave state and his organization there in Georgia definitely did own slaves. We don't like to talk about the areas of life where these spiritual leaders fall short but we want to give accurate historical facts.
