The president is still incredibly popular in Russia and you're talking about sanctions targeted sanctions which are polled back in June 2015. Almost half of the Russia those polled said they feel like they were shouldering the burden of sanctions so they felt 46% of the general Russian population felt the sanctions were hurting them. Boris Nemtsov called the Magnitsky law the most pro-Russian law ever passed in any foreign parliament that's a direct quotation from me because it's a law that targets those who abuse the rights of Russian citizens and blood.
