Permanente's B's Restructuring of Loans
A lot of banks exited the Irish market after the crash and their loans were just sold on. But some of the mainstream banks, sold loan portfolios as well. Permanente's B was forced to sell 6,000 very profitable performing loans. And then later on we have a demand situation whereby Permanente're B is encouraged to buy loans from Ulster Bank. I fully supported the sale of those two Vulture funds.
