The Importance of a Smiley Face
The idea of the smiley face became connected to this alleged string of murders, cluster of murders. Police had discovered graffiti depicting that ubiquitous two dots and half a circle smiley face near locations where they believe the killer or potentially killers dumped bodies in at least a dozen cases. Also a phrase, sin sinuwa was also cited as being found near some of these areas that were being investigated in connection with bodies found floating in water.
