Myths have a unique power to motivate and inspire, provide meaning and hope. Living without a strong mythos sustained only by what we can rationally calculate can make it hard to summon the strength required for great action. The radical transformation that is desired right is not going to be achievable without acknowledging the fact that this sort of myth making is happening right. Instead of completely abandoning myth, we should try to make better myths,. Not try to pass off our own myths as absolute truth. This episode was produced by Mike Berkey.
