I'm a male in my late thirties, never married, no kids, and recovering alcoholic. Six years after rehab, i entered both a group and one on one after car therapy once per month. So much of the recovery process aims to help us learn that we deserve to be happy, or deserve to be loved. I struggle with this concept, because no one has ever convinced me that everybody deserves any of this simply because they exist.
