Is the Drone a New Weapon?
Drones are a new area of arms races, if you like. National efforts range from very specific battlefield effects that armies would man let's say, for example, us poofing g p s signals. Even soldiers now also have their sell phones, we've seen cases in which actually selphones are tracked to identify where soldiers are and send them disconcerting messages. So what this really means is that the old ideas of the battlefield have once again expanded outwards. Now there's all sorts of other ways in which every single individual in a target society is now at threat.
