How Do You Shorten the Due Diligence Period?
Listeners who get approached by a competitor should try to ascertain up front how serious they are. Look at their track record and history, like, have they made acquisitions in the past of competing products or competing companies? Do they have a formalized team? Is this just the business unit person who's telling you they want to buy you? And then part two would be, ah, whatever you can do to shorten the due diligence period.
