After 9-11, I was ultimately on the trial team that prosecuted Jose Padilla and his co-defendants in the Southern District of Florida. So the relevance of the Padilla prosecution to the current case involves a statute that is going to become very non obscure all of a sudden called the classified information procedures act. This is a procedural statute that sets out essentially a roadmap of steps where the court can consider how this evidence may be relevant to the defendant," she said.
