The Tension Between Observing Nature and Evolution

Vincent: It's sort of that tension between observing nature and evolutionary processes unfolding. Experimenters are constantly trying to figure out how do I design an experiment that maximizes what I can learn about this? Vincent: If we make the choice, like interesting choices about how we set up the experiment, it might give us some of the features of how this evolution is happening.
