The Asa Quiros, I'm a Civil Engineer and I Grew Up in South Asia.
As a kid, I remember in Bangladesh when the lake behind our house would dry up during the dry season and people would be rice patties. And there was a big commotion one day and my recollection of it from when I was 7 or 8 was that what had happened is somebody had cut the wall or dyke between his field and somebody else's field. The guy whose water was stolen killed him with a hoe. In like one of the poorest countries on earth back in the 70s. So to me, the Asa Quiros being these gravity fed, pretty simple from a mechanical perspective or from an industrial perspective, maybe pretty simple systems. They're incredibly sophisticated really
