The Overload of Information on the London Underground

Current graphic designers say the map is far too unwieldy to be useful. Some have attempted their own versions, but they found people don't like other people messing with it. Mark node used Google Maps and a battered old copy of the Londonator's street atlas to plot stations. He published his version online and on Twitter and various other places. The reactions ranged from beautiful to an ugly waste of time.
