Johnny Cash's Prison Concerts
Merle haggard was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but wound up serving a little less than three. Cash's performance occurred about half way through his stint, and haggard later cited it as a life changing moment. The two singers reunited in 19 69 on an episode of the johnny cash show on a b c.
