Is There a Landing Sequence?

There is no seamless transition, like, once you land on a planet. What i would love is, if you get close to the atmosphere, if you can fly around space. The chances of an encounter in space with an enemy are probably pretty slim ri or oute resource but we'll see how they handle it. I really wonder how the space travel stuffs get to work in general, wh space is big as hard ind a. And when this ship customization came in, it really made me not even care about building a base on a planet like umte. I would build a base on my ship. That could be a lot of fun.
