What Kind of Prejudices Do You Have About Insurrections?
Roger Tew: I think there's a lot of people have prejudices about who these people were. To what extent do the case documents kind of validate those prejudices? And to what extent is the story more complicated? There was this sense that by was synonymous with communism. For some it was just, you know, they were there to protest anti coved measures. They were mentally ill people. The educational backgrounds of ill people could be very high. But the cases i've seenh there were some fairly hard scrambles, circumstances, financially, and a belief in the big lie.
