In 1981, Miami was dubbed the cocaine capital of the world. The Medellin Cartel's investment in South Florida real estate is estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars. At one point, there are so many dead bodies that the city morgue is forced to store the overload in a refrigerated truck. Retired Marion County Chief of Police Brian Jarvis recalls how common this all was.
