Is the US Commitment to Afghanistan Impaired?

The republic of cree also took a lot of asylum seekers from yemin a few years ago, and that spark somewhat of a a back lash within the country. Have any of those debates re emerged? I'm sure that they will. Especially because this is an election year in korea. So it's entirely possible that the issues like this could come up and be politicized pretty quickly.
