Is the UN Helping the People in East Africa?
Someone is dying every 36 seconds in East Africa because of the worst drought in 40 years. It's clearly exacerbated by climate breakdown that people in East Africa had almost nothing to do with. The last time we were worried about drought conditions, the international community did come together and deliver billions of dollars worth of aid. This time around, only a fraction of the resource that the UN and organizations like ours need are being delivered.
