Previously to have the right to vote would you need to be a property owner is that is that right? Yes yes so that was quite a radical change then that would have been. They also wanted MPs to be paid because in order to be represented among themselves they needed to send working people to parliament but of course it was a very expensive undertaking. So we're most parliamentarians at the time by definitionQuite wealthy and therefore I'm representative. You had to have money to put yourself forward for an election, pay for an election and then sustain yourself in parliament living in London. Then of course there was the question of equal electoral districts. Now we touched upon this earlier with the rotten boroughs etc
