The Importance of Force Protection

The length of the wars has clearly been, and it wasn't clearly for a long time, especially when the US was still in Iraq. People were going on these long deployments. By the time people were on their fifth deployments, the risk is of PTSD and other kinds of serious psychiatric illnesses was going up and up. You have a real problem of recruiting enough people into the military, keeping them in the military. And that has actually affected the actual treatment of PTSD and or moral injury within among active duty personnel.
